Easy Dessert You Make In 3 Minutes

Best easy dessert for the winter months when you need lots of energy. And as quick and healthy as it goes.

Nuts recipes

Health-giving simplicity

This popular assortment of nuts is an excellent source of plant protein and essential fatty acids. It naturally adds healthy oils to your Mediterranean diet.

In the old days, this Catalan easy dessert could mean just a few toasted almonds at the end of an everyday lunch. Or...

...a more substantial and varied assortment of nuts, dry fruits, cookies, and an optional sweet wine served in a small glass or a special bottle called porró.

Some people (myself included) like to dip the cookie in the dessert wine. This may not be very gourmet-like, but it's certainly delicious.

The larger nut assortment was served after festive meals like the harvest meal and Christmas. It is called Grana de capellà, that can be translated as Priester's grains or seeds.

The present Postres de músic, Catalan for Musician dessert, as we call it, is something in between. The sweet dessert wine and the cookies are always optional. And if you don't want to drink wine, you could substitute it for natural must or grape juice.

Adapt it to your needs. Include as many or as few nuts and dry fruits as you like.
