New pictures of food every week. Everybody seems to love food pictures, so here are my original images. By the way, they aren't the same photos that illustrate the Mediterranean recipe pages and Mediterranean diet articles of this web site, but different ones.

Some weeks I'll publish Mediterranean recipes, the next week an specific ingredient, a fresh Mediterranean vegetable, or a succulent specialty I just bought from the local farmers' market... As the saying goes: Food goes in through the eyes!

It goes without saying that the main subject is the Mediterranean diet, although now and then you'll see a picture of the Mediterranean seascape and landscape. After all, I'm a firm believer in the Mediterranean cuisine understood as the landscape in the casserole.

Pears in full moon Besides eating them raw, you can eat pears in other ways, such as stuffed or poached pears in red wine. Stuffing pears and peaches is a very old Catalan Mediterranean recipe with an unusual intriguing taste.

Full moon summer evening It was full moon, and I managed to catch it beyond the pear tree, between the two branches. Unfortunately, the moon image is way too far and small.
